We are just crazy Disney fans, I have been doing this planning for my own trips over the last several years I found
myself creating more and more spreadsheets and constantly updating park times. Slowly over time I started
creating personal web pages, I'm a web developer so we tend to "play" making sites for our own use. After some
time and a little slow period at work I figured this was the best time to try to make it into something that everyone can
use! So over the next several months my wife and I spent some time polishing up and adding new features to my "personal pages".
In the end, we had the MouseDay Planner!!
Now I am still using this site for my own personal trips because I love to plan. With that said, I don't see this being
a finished site, but more like a growing and developing planning tool. As I discover new features, they will be added and given
to everyone for use as well as features that you may suggest. Everyone plans differently but I have found that this can work for anyone, like
the people who "fly by the seat" but still need to know what is going on around the parks to the "Super Planner" that likes planning every detail
of their trip to get in the "magical mood". That would be me, I'm a planner.
Just this past trip I was using one of the newest features, SMS (phone texting) messaging. This is very cool...
In my plan I setup reminders that sent me SMS messages to remind me of dining reservations that were getting close as well
as parade times so I didn't forget anything! It worked so well I had to add it to the site for everyone to use. This is just one example of
how the site will continue to grow.
I hope you enjoy using the site and planning your trip, I know I do!
